Marketing Communications Executive

The right candidate will:

Be responsible for the smooth planning, execution and optimization of the marketing and communication plan of our exports department. He/she will liaise with product, sales, web and in-house creative team to build strong brand presence in the international market. We are looking for an individual who will bring expertise and new ideas to the table, to grow and evolve the business as part of a high performing team.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Co-creates 360° Marketing & Communication plan for markets of responsibility
  • Coordinates all related activities, working closely with product, exports and creative teams and monitors progress vs plans
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of Digital, ATL and promotional campaigns
  • Creates and manages presentations for Business Development proposals and other marketing material to support our exports and new business initiatives
  • Analyses and identifies the need of product and range communication content for assigned markets, based on overall marketing and commercial strategy, insights and customer needs, in order to decide what, when and how to communicate for all media and channels
  • Approves, follows-up and secures that communication messages are fulfilled in the communication execution and evaluates its effectiveness
  • Plans and Manages social media calendar and campaigns
  • Sets-up and executes social media (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok ) and Newsletter campaigns, monitors and reports on achieved targets and performance
  • Craft stories and compelling copy that fit brand tone of voice and experience proposition for social platforms, website, ads, print, press releases, newsletters, as well as effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action
  • Identifies industry trends, providing expert advice on marketing and advertising techniques and pitching fresh and innovative ideas
  • Stays up to date with current technologies and trends in web, social media, design tools and applications
  • Closely monitor competition’s digital and trade activities (e-commerce, offers, social media & newsletter content etc)
  • Work closely with external vendors like Digital Agency, Media, etc

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a well reputable University with excellent academic record
  • Master's Degree will be considered as a plus
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar position
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Greek & English
  • Very strong Digital Marketing skills including: Hands-on experience in using email marketing platforms ( copy creation and design, segmentation, automation, reporting) social media platforms and ads (concept, copy, creation, targeting, optimization, reporting), knowledge of web and social media analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta etc)
  • Copywriting skills – strong on Social Media, Web and ads
  • Strong Understanding of design, branding and marketing principles and techniques
  • Commercial understanding: Ability to put company’s strategy into practice, transfer commercial and marketing needs into concrete projects and clearly convey the right message
  • Internet and technology savvy and always up to date with the latest trends and technologies
  • Previous work experience in a retail, wholesale or e-commerce business
  • Other EU language knowledge highly desired
  • Computer literate and Google search savvy. Must have excellent working knowledge of MS Office Tools
