Repair, Inspection & Warranty Policy

Every product supplied by FOURNARAKIS S.A. and its authorized partners is warranted against manufacturing defects in accordance with applicable legislation, without prejudice to the customer's statutory rights, and subject to the respective manufacturer's warranty terms.

1. The warranty period commences on the date of purchase, as evidenced by the issued sales receipt or invoice. The proof of purchase must include, at a minimum, the product code and the purchase date.
2. In addition to the proof of purchase, warranty validation requires inspection by our Service Center, which will determine whether the cause of the failure is covered by the warranty.
3. Transportation costs for sending tools or machinery to and from our Company are borne by the sender in all cases. Products are transported through our authorized dealer network.
4. Ownership of any products, spare parts, or accessories found to be defective and replaced under an approved warranty claim shall transfer to FOURNARAKIS S.A.
5. The warranty period shall not be extended or renewed as a result of any warranty service or repair performed by the Company.
6. No claims other than those expressly stated in these Warranty Terms shall be covered under this warranty.

FOURNARAKIS S.A. reserves the right to amend these Warranty Terms at any time without prior notice.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The warranty covers the cost of repairing the tool or machine and replacing defective components resulting from defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover any of the following:

1. Normal wear and tear.
2. Consumable or wear parts subject to normal use, including but not limited to carbon brushes, power cords, switches, seals, filters, spark plugs, guide bars, chains, gears, and similar components.
3. Products that have been repaired, modified, adjusted, rebuilt, or otherwise serviced by anyone other than an official or authorized service center, or where non-genuine or non-recommended spare parts, consumables, accessories, or unsuitable additional equipment have been installed, affecting the product's operation.
4. Damage resulting from misuse, improper use, operation contrary to the user manual, or continued operation after a partial failure or fault indication.
5. Damage resulting from inadequate maintenance or improper storage.
6. Damage or malfunction caused by insufficient cleaning (including dust, oil, or debris accumulation), exposure to chemicals for which the product is not designed, or damage caused by moisture, corrosion, or similar environmental factors.
7. Damage resulting from incorrect adjustment, improper assembly, or any maintenance or setup operations that are the responsibility of the user according to the operating instructions.
8. Damage caused by incorrect, unsuitable, or poor-quality fuel; unsuitable or poor-quality two-stroke mixing oil or four-stroke engine oil; or incorrect fuel/oil mixture ratios.
9. Damage resulting from the use of salt water in pressure washers.
10. Damage caused by power outages, phase loss, voltage fluctuations, or connection to a power supply other than that specified for the product.
11. Damage resulting from flooding, lightning, frost, force majeure events, accidents, theft, transportation damage, impact, dropping, or similar external causes.
12. Products used for rental purposes, demonstrations, display, sampling, or supplied free of charge.
13. FOURNARAKIS S.A. reserves the right to amend the Repair, Inspection and Warranty Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

FFG and BENMAN products are manufactured according to the highest quality standards and comply with all applicable European regulations on safety, emissions, etc. Products are thoroughly tested when their production is completed to guarantee that they are free of manufacturing defect and materials, for a period of time as below, starting from the date of their purchase:

• Professional use: 1 year
• Amateur use: 2 years

Warranty term exceptions may be made, according to promotions in effect from time to time or as follows:

• Batteries: 1 year, regardless of use
• Angle Grinders (HD line): 2 years, regardless of use
• Air compressors (HD line): 2 years, regardless of use
• Generators (HD line): 2 years, regardless of use
• Electric water pumps: 3 years, regardless of use
• Electric jet booster pumps: 3 years, regardless of use

In case that a product falls under more than one exclusion rule, the shortest warranty period applies.

FLEX products are manufactured according to the highest quality standards and comply with all applicable European regulations regarding safety, emissions, etc. The products are thoroughly tested when their production is completed to guarantee that they are free of manufacturing and material defects, for a period of time as follows, starting from the date of their purchase:

• Professional use: 3 years
• Amateur use: 3 years

Warranty term exceptions may be made, according to promotions in effect from time to time or as follows:

• Batteries: 2 years, regardless of use

In case that a product falls under more than one exclusion rule, the shortest warranty period applies.

SKIL products are manufactured according to the highest quality standards and comply with all applicable European regulations regarding safety, emissions, etc. The products are thoroughly tested when their production is completed to guarantee that they are free of manufacturing and material defects, for a period of time as follows, starting from the date of their purchase:

• Professional use: 1 year 
• Amateur use: 3 years 

Warranty term exceptions may be made, according to promotions in effect from time to time or as follows: 

• Power tools with brushless engine: 5 years, in case of amateur use 
• Power tools (grey line): 2 years, in case of amateur use 

In case that a product falls under more than one exclusion rule, the shortest warranty period applies.

AR BLUE CLEAN products are manufactured according to the highest quality standards and comply with all applicable European regulations regarding safety, emissions, etc. The products are thoroughly tested when their production is completed to guarantee that they are free of manufacturing and material defects, for a period of time as follows, starting from the date of their purchase:

• Professional use: 1 year 
• Amateur use: 2 years 

Warranty term exceptions may be made, according to promotions in effect from time to time or as follows: 

• Products of professional line: 1 year, regardless of use 

In case that a product falls under more than one exclusion rule, the shortest warranty period applies.

Warranty requests for BOSCH and DREMEL tools and machines are handled by BOSCH's authorized repair centers in Athens and Thessaloniki.
